My name is David Yale, for a number of years i was employed in the heavy plant industry as a operator.
From September 2007 till March 2011 I was employed with Miller Argent Ltd, on the Ffoss y fran land reclamation scheme in Merthyr Tydfil.
From November 2007 till March 2010 I was branch secretary of the Unite Union on site, in March 2011 I was made redundant and re-trained through REact Wales gaining a lev 3 diploma in accounting (AAT).
Having tried to get gainful employment and failed I believe because of my age (61) I have decided to go self employed along with my wife Sylvia Yale.
We have been encouraged and given great support by Interserve Working Futures ltd and Mr Stephen Hammond my business mentor.
